Wire EDM's
Charmilles Robofil 4000 – Charmilles Robofil 510P – Charmilles Robofil 290F
ROBOFIL 4000 WIRE EDM MACHINE – Our Robofil offers 5 full axis capability with extremely precise circular interpolation. The machine is adjusted automatically to obtain the best possible balance between cutting rate and strict adherence to the geometry. The robofil helps us immeasurably toward the ideal zero defects rate of production which makes us and our customers highly competitive in terms of price. This machine has a cutting area of 12 1/2” by 17 ½” and a weight capacity of 1100lbs.
CNC Mills
LeBLOND-MAKINO MILLING CENTER – Another vertical machining center with the same capabilities as the Tree. This machine has 20” travel in X, 12” travel in Y, and 12” travel in Z. Total weight capacity is 440lbs.
TREE CNC MACHINING CENTER – The machine is a vertical machining center designed for complete machining of flat as well as boxed shaped steel, cast iron, light metal alloy parts clamped on the work table. The machine enables milling, drilling, boring, reaming, and threading operations in three mutually perpendicular coordinate axis X, Y, Z. X travel range 40”. Y travel range 20”. Z travel range 25”. This machining center has a total workpiece weight capacity of 2000lbs.
HURCO-HAWKE 5M KNEE MILL – Another vertical machining center with the same capabilities as the TREE. This machine has 31” travel in X, 14” travel in Y, and 6” travel in Z. Total weight capacity of this machine is 800lbs
MORI SEIKI CNC LATHE – We rely on our Mori Seiki lather for speed, precision, and toughness. With its high speed positioning, it makes us economical as well. It has been engineered to minimize vibration, backlash, and thermal displacement, guaranteeing our customer greater reliability in their tools and parts.
BROWN & SHARPE COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE – We use this machine for machine set up, to digitize parts, reverse engineering, and parts inspection.
DIE QUIP ID GRINDER – This piece of equipment has the capacity to remove material from 1/16” dia. Holes to 2” dia. Holes.
HARIG PROGRAMMABLE SURFACE GRINDER – The bed of this surface grinder will handle 6” width and 18” in length.
BRIDGEPORT/HARIG – Our capacities in flat-form and cylindrical-form grinding have grown significantly with the addition of our 2 axis Bridgeport machine with 4 axis capability.
SUNNEN HONING MACHINE – With power honing, we are able to handle diameters as small as .060” and as large as 3.750”.
CAD/CAM CAPABILITIES – Customers designs, arriving on a disk or by modem feed directly into our CAD/CAM system which codes them into CNC machine cutting files for transmittal to individual machines in our shop, guaranteeing the accuracy and speed of turnaround that our customers desire. We use the system regularly in the design and fabrication of custom parts and tooling.
Besides the above listed machines, we have several conventional Bridgeport mills, Harig surface grinders, and lathes. We are also equipped to do our own high speed steel heat treating.
